Moscow hosts supported by FIDE Christmas tree chess festival

For the opening of the festival, the FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov invited as guests of honour the Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich, head of the ROC Alexander Zhukov, Spokesman for the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, Russian President's Advisor for Cultural Affairs Vladimir Tolstoy, Representative of Russian President for International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail Shvydkoy, head of Sberbank German Gref, the 12th World Chess Champion Anatoly Karpov, Russian grandmasters, businessmen, representatives of public organizations and foreign embassies.
