Kirsan Ilyumzhinov congratulated the Muslims on Navruz Bayram holiday

I congratulate all Muslims on the coming of the spring holiday of Navruz Bayram! Today this bright and joyful holiday symbolizing the awakening of nature is celebrated in Iran and Azerbaijan, in Afghanistan and Albania, in Georgia and Iraqi Kurdistan, in India, Kazakhstan, Kirghizia, Macedonia, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China, Tajikistan, Turkey and Uzbekistan. In Russia, it is celebrated by residents of Tatarstan, Bashkiria, Dagestan and some other regions.

Navruz – one of the most ancient holidays on Earth – is a time for renewal and hope, a symbol of fidelity to the best traditions of wise ancestors.

Navruz embodies the high principles of peace, humanism and diligence. In February 2010, a special resolution adopted at the 64th session of the UN General Assembly declared March 21 as the International day of Navruz.
"A new day has come" is the meaning of Navruz Bayram in Farsi. Therefore, together with the congratulations that have already become traditional, I want to wish everyone new opportunities, new ideas and let all the most beautiful dreams come true. May this holiday bring peace and fortune; fill the hearts with new hopes, joy and confidence in the future. I wish you good health, happiness, good and prosperity!
