On 20 April, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov came to the Republic of Togo on a working visit. On that day, a meeting was held with the leadership of Togo Chess Federation.
The parties discussed the most acute problems of chess life. They exchanged views on the activity of the national chess federation, talked about the progress of chess in Togo's social life, sending students to study chess in Russia and other topics.
