Kirsan Ilyumzhinov met Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan

On 8 June, the first president of Kalmykia, the sixth president of FIDE, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, met Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan.

Kirsan Nikolayevich said: “I met Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan in his palace in Abu Dhabi. During our conversation I congratulated him on the end of the holy month of Ramadan and the holiday of Uraza Bayram.”
Ilyumzhinov stressed that the meeting was very fruitful; the parties discussed a number of business projects, talked about the development of chess in the region.

He also chairs a number of ministerial committees, including the Education Committee and the State Labour Planning Committee.
