The FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov upon the request of the Azerbaijani Chess Federation has agreed on the participation of the GM Gadir Guseinov in the international tournament for the World Cup, which will be held in Baku from 10th of September to 6th of October this year.
Shahriyar Mammadyarov, Teymur Rajabov, Eltaj Safarli, Rauf Mammadov and Vasif Durarbeyli will also represent Azerbaijan in this prestigious tournament.
