The head of FIDE has awarded the certificate of honor Andrew Obodchuk

FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov has awarded the certificate of honor of the 7-time world champion among persons with disorders of the locomotor apparatus Andrew Obodchuk - "for his years of work on the education of young players, personal contribution to the development of chess movement in connection with the 60-th anniversary".
Andrey Anatolyevich - the world's only disabled person who has won the title of International Master. He can play on six boards at the same time with his eyes closed, he speaks several languages.

Renowned chess teacher was born in Tyumen. He became the champion of Russia for 9 times. He is the author of the popular book "The debut of four horses". Currently Andrew Obodchuk is coach  Russian prodigy Gordey Kolesov, which Kirsan Ilyumzhinov called "The Little Buddha of Chess World".
