The next tournament contenders for the right to compete with the current world chess champion will be held in the Russian capital in March 2016.
"The competition will be held in Moscow at the highest level, and gives a lot of exciting fights, attracting great interest of spectators and media. We hope that the tournament will be one of the most covered in the history of chess, contributing to their further promotion", - commented on the event in the future FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov.
"Partner of the championship will be the group "Tashir". We are delighted that a major international company has evaluated the possibility and the size of the audience of the sport in Russia and in the world,"- said Ilyumzhinov.
Recall, for the company "Tashir" it is not the first experience of supporting chess competitions.
Thus, in November 2014 in Moscow, was organized a chess tournament in memory of Tigran Petrosian with a prize fund of 100 thousand euro.
