Answering to the question of the magazine Topsport.bg, whether he was interested in investing in Bulgarian football, in particular, by supporting the famous football club CSKA Sofia, that lost its professional status due to debts, the head of FIDE Kirsan Ilyumzhinov did not rule out such a possibility.
"To begin with, I would like to apprehend the problems of one of the most respected and successful clubs in Bulgaria. I think you understand that there is no other way but to conduct a comprehensive study of the situation before taking any decision", - said Ilyumzhinov.
"Would I like to give a chance to CSKA? Maybe, because I have a good impression of your country. But let me first review the information about the club and then to tell you more about its advantages and other characteristics", - said the head of FIDE.
