Kirsan Ilyumzhinov congratulates the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill on the 1030th anniversary of the Baptism of Rus

On 28 July, the head of FIDE congratulated the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill on the 1030th anniversary of the Baptism of Rus and the Day of Remembrance of the St. Grand Duke Vladimir of Russia, the Baptist of Russia.
The congratulatory message reads as follows:
"Your Holiness,
I wholeheartedly congratulate you and in your person all the Orthodox believers of Russia with the 1030th anniversary of the Baptism of Russia and the Day of Remembrance of the St. Grand Duke Vladimir, the Baptist of Russia.

This event determined the destiny of peoples, laid the unbreakable foundation of their spiritual life and cultural development. Orthodoxy carries within itself the values ​​of unity and brotherhood, which have always stood against strife.
On the bright day of the celebration of Baptism of Russia, I heartily wish you, Your Holiness, good health, prosperity, further successes in high service for the benefit of Russia and the Russian Orthodox Church."
On the same day Kirsan Ilyumzhinov visited the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour with the relics of St. Grand Duke Vladimir.
