Vassily Ivanchuk would never aim to be the FIDE President, knowing that it is absolutely not his business. It's the same as if I was invited to sing at the opera house or dance some ballet. I think I would be wise enough to refuse.

If you mean Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, he has done a lot for chess, his input was very positive. I believe he occupies the right post. I do not see the real alternative to him. Of course, one cannot say that everything is perfect. But in general, in my opinion, he is good at his job.
