On September 29, FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov awarded the head of the State Housing Inspectorate of Moscow Oleg Kichikov with the Golden Badge and Diploma of FIDE for his contribution to the popularization of chess and participation in the construction of chess city – ‘City Chess’.

Recall that Oleg Kichikov occupied position of the First Deputy Minister of Construction of the Republic of Kalmykia from 1998 to 2002, and was the head of the regional Government from 2010 to 2011.
