Kirsan Ilyumzhinov told to Life.ru reporter that he was ready to assist promotion of chess in the Perm region.
"In the nearest future, I will write a letter to the head of the region and will send the Director of FIDE Representative office in Russia Berik Balabayev and the director of the ‘Chess in Schools’ foundation Nikita Kim. All support will be provided," promised the President of FIDE.
