According to Ilyumzhinov, Qatari and Russian businessmen, in particular, the head of the development group Rodina Anton Viner (the son of the President of the All-Russian Federation of Rhythmic Gymnastics Irina Viner, who is the wife of billionaire Alisher Usmanov) are ready to be partners for the project.
"The owner of the "Uryuk "restaurants Anton Viner expressed his desire to participate in the project. There are proposals for partnership from the owners of three restaurant chains," Ilyumzhinov noted.
FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov plans to open restaurants of Soviet cuisine in Qatar.
"We with my Qatari friends, businessmen and sheikhs agreed to open two restaurants here. The first one will be placed in the walking area of Doha embankment. It will be an economy class "Restaurant Kirsan" representing cuisines of 15 Soviet republics. The second restaurant will be located in a five-star hotel -- Kempinski or Four Seasons. It will be a premium dining place for sheikhs," Ilyumzhinov said, estimating investments in each of the restaurants at €1.5-2 million.
