All participants had the opportunity for a photosession with Pele. By the way, Pele received as a present from the head of FIDE unique sets of chess figures including Kalmyk ones.
September 24 the king of football Pele celebrated his 75th birthday in London. Chiefs of the International Chess Federation (FIDE), including President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov and FIDE vice-president, head of the Russian Chess Federation Andrey Filatov were invited. The president of the Chess Federation of Mongolia Saynbayar Tserendorj also attended the event.
The event was held in the Halcyon Gallery. It was attended by representatives of the creative establishment, business and banking community as well as various media.
