In a conversation with Kirsan Nikolayevich, the State Oracle of Tibet spoke about the results of his pastoral trip to Kalmykia. Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, in his turn, thanked the State Oracle of Tibet for pastoral work, which contributes to the revival of spirituality and strengthening the religious traditions of the Republic of Kalmykia.
On 20 October, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov met with the State Oracle of Tibet Thupten Ngodup in Moscow.
Recall that last week Thupten Ngodup was on a visit to Kalmykia. This was the fourth visit of the High Medium (Kuten) of the Tibetan people, head of the Nechung Monastery and oracle of His Holiness 14th Dalai Lama.
Thupten Ngodup went to see Kalmykia in 1997, 1998 and 2011. “As part of my three visits, I tried to get acquainted with Kalmykia. I visited Elista and regional centres,” said the State Oracle of Tibet.
