The first president of Kalmykia, the sixth president of FIDE Kirsan Ilyumzhinov arrived on a working visit to the UAE. During his stay, Kirsan Nikolayevich saw his friend, Sheikh Ahmed and visited his unique reserve park in Sharjah with rare species of animals.“I flew to my friend Ahmed. I visited his unique reserve with rare species of animals. Ahmed is a philanthropist and humanitarian. His hobbies are wild animals. He finds rare animals in zoos all over the world, buys them, adapts them and releases into the wild.
It is not my first visit here, but every time I am amazed at the love with which wildlife is treated here. I saw the white lion named Simba. I fed giraffes and admired flamingos. There are a lot of rare animals in the reserve: white lion, pink flamingos, giraffes, roe deer, etc.”
Editors’ note. One of the best private zoos in the UAE is located on an area of 100 hectares near the city of Sharjah. It is amazing to see those wonderful inhabitants peacefully living in the zoo. The main task of the zoo is to preserve living animals.
