I would like to congratulate my countrymen and all the faithful Buddhists with the great holiday - the birthday of the Buddha Shakyamuni!

On this blessed day, we celebrate three important events in the life of the Master - the birth, enlightenment and achieving parinirvana. Shakyamuni Buddha came to this world to help people find happiness and get rid of adversity. Today, on the birthday of the great Master, we do not just rejoice in his wonderful deeds but try to follow his example and do virtuous deeds.
