On June 20, FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov met in Moscow with Tenzin Priyadarshi - a Buddhist monk, the founding director of the Center for Ethics and Transformative Values, acting under the auspices of the Dalai Lama XIV at MIT USA.

At the meeting, both parties discussed the spiritual development of Buddhist communities in Russia (including Kalmykia), as well as moral and philosophical issues of the day.
