On October 6, the 4th International Forum of MGIMO Alumni was held in the Palace of Independence in Astana.

FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Chairman of the Senate of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, Foreign Minister Kairat Abdrakhmanov, MGIMO Rector Anatoly Torkunov and other officials, who came from different countries, took part in the event.
