In memory of Mark Dvoretsky

On behalf of the International Chess Federation (FIDE) and myself, I express deepest condolences on the death of Mark Izrailovich Dvoretsky, who was one of the best trainers in the world.

That International Master, Honoured Chess Trainer of the USSR, Russia, Georgia, Champion of Moscow and Honoured FIDE Trainer made a great contribution to popularization of the ancient game and brought up a galaxy of famous grandmasters during his career.

Mark Izrailevich will always be remembered as a versatile man, particularly, as the biggest last games’ specialist, who has written a huge amount of books. His enchanting games and books that are read with great interest by chess fans all over the world are the proof of it.
My sincere condolences to the families and friends of Mark Dvoretsky at this irretrievable loss.
