On October 28, the awarding ceremony of the winners of the Russian Chess Championship among men and women also called the Superfinal and the opening of an exhibition dedicated to the celebration of a centenary of Renault’s presence in Russia was held at the Botvinnik Central House of Chess.

GMs Aleksander Riazantsev and Alexandra Kosteniuk were awarded with the keys of the flagship car Renault Captur. The ceremony was attended by FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich, head of the ROC Alexander Zhukov and the Ambassador of France to Russia Jean-Maurice Ripert.
