The ceremony of the opening of this great event was delegated to Jorge Vega Fernández, the president of FIDE of America and personally attended by the FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, Dr. Guy J. Bendaña Guerrero, the President of Nicaragua National Chess Federation (FENANIC-FENICA) who is the member of the Bureau of the Social Action Commission of FIDE and Ing. Roger Conrado, the treasurer of FENANIC-FENICA and the organizer of this championship.
The main arbiter was FA Pablo Moraga Obando, and the deputy arbiters were FA Eneo Sánchez and FA Gerardo Avellán.

Once given the trophies and medals, Dr. Guy Jose Bendaña-Guerrero thanked to FIDE President and Honorary President of FENANIC-FENANIC, Mr. Kirsan Ilyumzhinov for his patronage; to the international arbiter Jorge Vega Fernandez, President of FIDE America for his support, as well to the teams and Central American Chess Federations for their participation in this championship, to the arbiters and administrative staff working in this tournament.
