After that Ilyumzhinov visited the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry. The rector of the university Yevgeny Bazhanov offered the head of FIDE to become the Honorary Professor of the Academy and to give a lecture to its students.
On November 11, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov visited the 11th International Conference on Eurasian economic integration.
During the event, FIDE President met with the Chairman of the Center for Strategic Research Alexei Kudrin, the head of the Management Board of the Eurasian Development Bank, Dmitry Pankin, as well as with the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Tigran Sargsyan.
The issues of wind turbines construction as well as a new branch of the Volga-Don canal were discussed at the meeting.
