On May 30, FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov held a working meeting in Brussels, in which president of the Kirsan Foundation European branch Inal Sheripov and sheikh Abdul Ghani al-Khatib participated.

The sides discussed a number of charity projects in African and Middle East countries, as well as an exclusive project on refugees socialization in Europe, including universal chess education.
