On June 11, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov completed his working visit to Zambia. Recall that he held business negotiations and opened a Zonal Chess Championship during his stay in Livingston.

Following the visit, FIDE President thanked the African Association of Chess Federations for the warm welcome and excellent organization of the tournament and expressed confidence that he would visit Africa more than once.
