On September 6, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov paid a private visit to the city of Limassol (Republic of Cyprus) after receiving an invitation to the wedding of his friend's daughter.

Incidentally, at the wedding celebration, the guest of honour from Russia took a souvenir proto with the well-known Ukrainian television and radio presenter Vladimir Ostapchuk, who held the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kiev last spring.
