On September 15, in Syktyvkar (the Republic of Komi), the chess tournament between orphans and elderly people ended. It was designed to help bring together lonely citizens of different generations, who share the common interests.
"We need each other" tournament was held on the premises of the Tentyukov residential home for the elderly and disabled with the support of FIDE. Kirsan Ilyumzhinov sent a greeting letter to the participants of the competition.
