On September 18, in his Moscow office, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov received the well-known Buddhist teacher Kundeling Rinpoche, who arrived in the Russian capital for the opening ceremony of the Enlightenment Stupa in Otradnoye.

During a warm meeting, Kundeling Rinpoche told of his recent pastoral visit to Kalmykia and expressed admiration for the magnificent Buddhist temples that Ilyumzhinov built.
