On October 24, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov visited the famous resort town of Rogaska Slatina, where he held talks with the President of the Chess Federation of Slovenia Tomaz Subotic, discussing the development of chess.

Also, head of FIDE met with FIDE Vice-President, Chairman of the Appeals Committee Boris Kutin, having talked with him about organization of major chess competitions.
