Kirsan Ilyumzhinov visits South Korea

On November 20, FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov arrived in Seoul, the capital of the Republic of Korea. There, Head of FIDE will hold a meeting with Korea Chess Federation. Presumably, among other important issues related to popularization and promotion of chess, the development of the "Chess in schools" project will be discussed.

In this regard, head of FIDE noted that the chess project does not require construction of an additional infrastructure and is well-known by its flexibility and economy. At the same time, it can attract the attention of a very large audience, especially foreign ones, which is extremely important for the local tourism industry.

Furthermore, during his working visit, Ilyumzhinov will hold a number of business meetings to discuss various business projects.
