Immediately upon his return to Moscow from a two week working trip abroad, President of FIDE visited Nadezhda (‘Hope’ in Russian, Ed.)" Lyceum School, where he opened a sports ground.
"We pay much attention to chess as an educational tool," the school's director Natalya Donskaya said. "The visit of such a legendary man as Kirsan Nikolaevich Ilyumzhinov is an honour and an enormous privilege for us."
The opening of a new sports ground is not accidental: everything is done to ensure that intellectually developed, creative and healthy children grow up in this school. This is evident from the school’s motto - "Legends are born with hope", which guides the work of a competent, experienced and loving teaching staff of this school.
