On March 2, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov visited the Reception House of the Russian Foreign Ministry, where a joint meeting of Supervisory Board and Board of Trustees of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) was held, chaired by Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
The Minister noted the success of MGIMO in the development of the internationalization programme, implemented with the support of the Board of Trustees members.
He spoke positively about successful reforming the training in political science, state and municipal government and creation of a new School of Governance and Politics.
Participants of the meeting presented priority projects for development of the University, in particular, a project for the cardinal improvement of territory of MGIMO at Vernadsky Prospect, which includes creating a parking zone at the adjacent site.
