On March 27-28, FIDE President made a working trip to France. In Paris, Ilyumzhinov met with the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Chan Hong Ha and the head of the Soviko holding Nguyen Thanh Hung, who arrived in Paris as part of a Vietnamese official delegation led by the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Nguyen Phu Trong.
The conversation was constructive; the parties discussed a number of business issues and the creation of important social programmes.
