All the meetings were constructive and held in a warm and friendly atmosphere of mutual understanding.
On 11 April, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov arrived in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, where he held a number of business meetings. In Hanoi, he met with the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of Vietnam, Dr Tran Hong Ha.
On 12 April, meetings with Vietnamese Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Ngoc Thien and representatives of the Vietnam Chess Federation were held.
