On 1 May, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov arrived in Jerusalem where a grandiose chess centenary is taking place – a simul game between ex-world champions Anatoly Karpov and Viswanathan Anand. FIDE President warmly welcomed the guests and participants of the simul and attended the tournament hall. In the video appeal, Ilyumzhinov congratulated all site’s readers on the International Day of Solidarity of Workers.
