I know that the month of Ramadan occupies a special place in the life of every Muslim. As the Qur'an says, strict observance of fasting and rejection of all sinful thoughts and desires will allow a person to be cleansed from vices, only thus can one receive the forgiveness of Allah and eternal happiness in Paradise. No wonder they say that Ramadan is a month of mercy.
This is the time of spiritual purification, comprehension of life priorities and inner self improvement. The traditions of Ramadan, which go back to the depths of the centuries, remind us of the need to be merciful, to do good deeds, to show compassion and concern for others.
