On 3 November, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov visited the village of Rupite, where Vanga lived and received people. He met with the head of Baba Vanga Foundation, Ivan Dramov, who presented him with a memorable gift - a statue of Vanga. In Rupite Ilyumzhinov also met with the adoptive son of the prophetess, Dimitr Volchev. Together they planted a plane tree in memory of Vanga in the yard of the house where she lived.The famous Baba Vanga lived there and received everyone who came to her place. This amazing woman became a symbol of Bulgaria. She helped many and organized the erection of the chapel of Sveta Petka of Bulgaria (Saint Paraskeva of the Balkans). Now when she passed away, people come there to worship her and receive a charge of cosmic energy, and it should be noted that there are always plenty of visitors.
The village of Rupite is located at the foot of the hill, which the locals call “Mountain Kozhukh”. This is a former volcano. In several places around the Rupite region, there are springs with healing mineral water with a temperature of 75 ° C.
