One letter that came to kirsan.today before the New Year especially touched us all. We decided to even publish it:
"Hello. My daughter wrote a letter of thanks and best wishes to Kirsan Nikolayevich. Is it possible that he read it? I promised her that I would do everything possible so that it reached the addressee :). I enclose her photo and, just in case, their joint photo. I can send the original by urgent mail or any other way you prefer.” This is written by the father of the girl you see in the photo. And here is the very letter from Ildana Kantserova, a resident of Kazakhstan:
“Hello, Kirsan Nikolayevich! My name is Ildana, I am 8 years old and I live in Semey, Kazakhstan. We met by chance in the autumn of 2016 at the Moscow Crown Plaza Hotel. Then I just learned how to arrange the pieces on the chessboard. After your kind farewell, I changed my attitude to chess and I study regularly: I go to a chess school, study books and participate in competitions. In two years, I became a school champion, a champion of the region and I took the 7th place in the Kazakhstan Championship (out of 42) and the 33rd place (out of 84) in the World Championship in Spain in 2018.
I want to thank you for your attention and wish you Happy New Year. I wish you and your family health, happiness and success in all your endeavors, as you wished me in September 2016. Sincerely, Ildana Kantserova.”
