Tashkent, summer, chess!

From 11 to 20 July, the traditional Tashkent Summer 2019 chess tournament will be held at the International Chess Academy in Tashkent.

According to Uzbekistan Chess Federation, the tournament will be held on the Swiss system in nine rounds in two groups: the children's group “B” for players born in 2006 and younger and the general group “A”. Time control in group “A” is 90 minutes until the end of the game adding 30 seconds for each move starting from the first one.

 

Time control in group “B” is 90 minutes until the end of the game. The winners will get the right to participate in the championship of Uzbekistan. If one of the winners already has such a right, then the next to him player gets the right to participate in this championship.

Winners of 1-6 places in the general group and 1-3 places among girls in group “A” will be allowed to study at the International Chess Academy without exams.
