FIDE President held a series of meetings in the casino "Monte Carlo"

October 13, Prime Minister of Monaco Michel Roger visited the casino "Monte Carlo" and made the first move of the 9th round of the 1st stage of the FIDE Grand Prix among women.
The Prime Minister paid special attention to a chess game of the world champion Maria Muzychuk and vice-champion Natalia Pogonina.

Сonversing with Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, the Prime Minister praised the level of organization of the tournament, the intelligence of its participants, and expressed hope for continued cooperation between Monaco and the International Chess Federation.

Also, the head of FIDE met with President of the International Judo Federation Marius Vizer, the head of the Chess Federation of Monaco Jean-Michel Rapper, President of the European Chess Union Zurab Ayzmaparashvili and other VIP-persons.
