On 22 August, the first president of Kalmykia, the sixth president of the International Chess Federation (FIDE), Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, was overwhelmingly elected Honorary Chairman of the Board of a nonprofit organization Russian-Chinese Union of Entrepreneurs, Artists and Cinematographers.It should be noted that the Russian-Chinese Union of Entrepreneurs, Artists and Cinematographers is a new organization. The Union was registered in June this year. The President is Cheng Jingxiang.
The organization has huge plans. Among them are promotion of films, videos and television programmes. In addition, they plan to organize large-scale festivals and exhibitions. Unsurprisingly, much attention will be paid to art and cinematography.
