During the meeting, the producer handed Kirsan Nikolayevich a picture that the famous artist Kalina Toneva painted specially for him. The painting depicts the meeting of Kirsan Ilyumzhinov and Vanga in 1993.
On 30 December, the first president of Kalmykia, sixth FIDE president Kirsan Ilyumzhinov met in Sofia, Bulgaria with the famous Bulgarian producer Stoyan Petrov, who was previously the interpreter of the healer and fortune-teller Vanga. Stoyan Petrov made several films about the life of the legendary clairvoyant.
Recall that film “Vanga as a Person and Phenomenon” premiered in Sofia on 19 June. The creators of the project are Kirsan Ilyumzhinov as well as interpreter and Vanga’s close friend Stoyan Petrov.
