On 21 January, the first president of Kalmykia, the sixth FIDE president visited the studio of a famous Moscow painter Alexey Parfenov, who painted his portrait. Alexey Parfenov designs interiors, paints portraits and is engaged in monumental painting. The artist follows a school that painting experts call Energism.The essence of this direction is that one can see real life scenes or portraits through paintings of coloured vortices, live vibrating flows and fields. These paintings help the viewer enter a meditative state and connect to the life-giving streams of cosmic energy. A painter transfers the feelings that he cannot express in words into paintings.
Alexey Parfenov himself described the meaning of the portrait as follows: “Dear Kirsan Nikolaevich, this is a picture of you and your mighty Spirit! It is a great work! The image precisely conveys the depth to your personality.”
