Kirsan Ilyumzhinov to give the President of Russia a unique tapestry from Tehran

On 8 February, the first president of Kalmykia, sixth president of FIDE Kirsan Ilyumzhinov received from Tehran a hand-woven portrait of Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. This technique, requiring a lot of work by artisans, is called the tapestry and this portrait is an outstanding work of art.


It was hand-made by leading Iranian artisans using traditional technology from high-quality silk and wool threads.

Kirsan Nikolaevich will give this unique gift from his Iranian comrades to Vladimir Vladimirovich personally at a meeting.
