Kirsan Ilyumzhinov leaves for Beirut on a working visit

On 15 February, the working visit of first President of Kalmykia, sixth President of FIDE to Rome ended. Kirsan Nikolaevich told our correspondent that after Rome he went to Beirut.

As we managed to find out, Ilyumzhinov plans a series of business meetings in the Lebanese capital. When our correspondent asked him was it difficult to endure such flights and practically be on the road all the time, Kirsan Nikolayevich answered that “he himself chose such a fate and if he had to be born again, he would not change his choice”.

By the way, Beirut is the capital and largest city of Lebanon. Located on a peninsula, in the middle of the Lebanese coast of the Mediterranean Sea, it is the largest and main seaport of the country. The Beirut area consists of the capital city and its suburbs. Beirut is the seat of the Lebanese government and plays a central role in the Lebanese economy.
