Green Tara ritual to be held in the Golden Abode of Buddha Shakyamuni

On 30 May, Green Tara Day is celebrated.

According to tradition, the Central Golden Khurul of Kalmykia, “The Golden Abode of Buddha Shakyamuni”, will hold a ritual addressed to Green Tara.
The result of good and bad deeds increases many times at the karmic level on that day. Therefore, believers need to be careful and devote themselves to spiritual practice.

Green Tara is the main manifestation of the deity of Tara. Green Tara produces goddesses of red, yellow and other colours. Green Tara protects us from fears and dangers emanating from the earth, water, fire, wind, poisons and wild animals. According to legend, she emerged from the tear of the right eye of Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara. The colour of her body symbolizes the instant fulfilment of any request of the believer. Green Tara sits on a lotus. Her right leg is lowered, thereby symbolizing the willingness of Green Tara to immediately come to rescue. The goddess holds the blue lotus flower.

The ritual of offering a mandala helps to cleanse karma, successfully cure diseases, remove obstacles, find prosperity, create a family, and have children. In response to prayers addressed to Green Tara, she is able to grant a quick recovery, elimination of obstacles, aversion of harmful effects from the outside.
Those present at the ritual may recite the Green Tara mantra, which helps in getting rid of samsara, eight fears and all illnesses: “Om Tare Tuttare Ture Matchmaker”.
The beginning is at 9 am. It will be broadcasted on Golden Shakyamuni Buddha Monastery YouTube channel  and on khurul_official  Instagram page. Names for the rituals to be sent to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
