Today, Russian Buryatia impresses everyone with its energy, passion in good deeds and striving for new achievements. Buryatia has become a large industrial region of Russia. In many respects, this is the merit of the current leadership of the republic, and, above all, the head of Buryatia, Alexei Sambuevich Tsydenov. He managed to rally the local society and aim the creative potential at solving important socio-economic problems.

In 2017, the Head of Buryatia approved 30 May as a state holiday of the Republic of Buryatia. Great and vast is our mighty Russia. It is not difficult to get lost in it among a host of peoples and almost a hundred equal subjects of the Russian Federation. But Buryatia is rightly proud of the rich history and achievements of today. Over the past years, a significant success has been achieved in the economy, culture, healthcare, education and in all significant areas of life.
