July 19, Evpatoria will host festive events dedicated to the International Chess Day.
At 9 am, there will be a solemn congratulation of the leading chess players of the Republic of Crimea as well as a friendly game of beach volleyball between chess players of the peninsula and representatives of administration of Evpatoria.
At 9.30 am, the solemn opening of the traditional "Masters Tournament", dedicated to the International Chess Day, will be held. Sixth president of the International Chess Federation (FIDE) Kirsan Ilyumzhinov and the Minister of Sports of Crimea Olga Torubarova will play together in one of the teams.
At 10.00am, a meeting between sixth President of the International Chess Federation (FIDE) Kirsan Ilyumzhinov and the leading chess players of Crimea will take place.
The organizers of this event are the Regional Public Organization "Crimean Chess Federation" and the administration of Evpatoria.
