On November 15, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov arrived in Dubai on a working visit. On the same day, first President of Kalmykia, sixth President of FIDE met with the head of the family company Mohammad Omar Bin Haider holding group Sheikh Omar Ali Bin Haider.
During business negotiations, Ilyumzhinov discussed with the sheikh joint projects in Sevastopol and Egypt. The other day, Kirsan Nikolayevich met with the port director Igor Chistyakov in Sevastopol.
At the meeting in Dubai, the parties discussed the clauses of an agreement on investing in a project to create a multi-modal trade and logistics complex with the Sevastopol terminal Aval. The aim is in exporting agricultural products through partner grain hubs in the Suez Canal.
While in the United Arab Emirates, Kirsan Nikolaevich congratulated Kalmyk journalists on the National Press Day. Let us remind you that the holiday was established in 2002 by the decree of first President of the Republic Kirsan Ilyumzhinov. It was related to the first issue of the Kalmyk newspaper Oirat Izvestia on November 15, 1917.
