Kirsan Ilyumzhinov received many New Year's greetings lately. We present a telegram from Yulia Zhironkina, director of the Save Tibetan Foundation for Preserving the Cultural and Philosophical Traditions of Tibetan Buddhism:
“Kirsan Nikolaevich, Happy New Year! I wish you strength, health, energy and new scientific discoveries. His Holiness plans to live to be 113 years old, that is, for 28 years we definitely need to hold on and work hard. All the best!"
First President of Kalmykia, sixth President of FIDE Kirsan Ilyumzhinov expressed deep gratitude to Yulia Zhironkina and noted, “Thanks to His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama, the goals are clear, the tasks are defined. We need to hold on and work hard for 28 years and even more in the name of Peace and Vitacracy (the right to life for everyone on Earth)."

Since the late 1990s, she has been engaged in the translation of Buddhist texts, as well as oral translation of the teachings of Buddhist teachers. Since the early 2000s, she has been providing simultaneous translation of the teachings of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.
She is editor of the popular website www.savetibet.ru, created in 2005 to provide information about the current situation in Tibet, the life of the Tibetan community in emigration and the development of Tibetan Buddhism in Russia and foreign countries.
